Whole Milk Mozzarella, Prosciutto, Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Red Onion
This pie shows off our pizza crust as it’s lightly topped with whole milk mozzarella, even more thinly sliced than for our other pizzas. After baking in the oven, we top it with arugula, red onions & cherry tomatoes tossed in our balsamic vinaigrette. The final touch are some Casella prosciutto florets to round things out.
The story behind the name: One night at Rubirosa, The Weeknd & Bella Hadid were dining at table #36 in the back room, which I thought was the best table in the house – and certainly the most private. As it happened, my wife & her friend were next to them at table #35. After Bella & The Weeknd left , I went to the back to say hi to my wife. I saw the staff moving her to table #36. I say, "WTF, you gotta move over to where The Weeknd was?" Angie says: Who's the Weeknd?" I’m like, “that Canadian singer - not Drake. He was sitting here with Bella Hadid.” She said: "That was Bella Hadid?!?!" I responded in all seriousness: "With the amount of money you spend at Victoria's Secret I figured she came here to thank you personally! Angie told me to go back to the kitchen and send out the desserts. Which is exactly what I did…
